Michael Ridley

Coming from a music background, Michael Ridley has been creating videos for more than ten years, specialising in music video directing in the last four. Michael has won awards for his directing in Clipped Music Video Festival, Canberra Short Film Festival and the Bond University Film & Telivision Awards. With strong roots in the Melbourne music industry, he has worked with a multitude of artists from all over Australia including Violent Soho, Julia Jacklin, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, The Belligerents and Alexander Biggs. In his work Michael strives to find new and captivating ways to visually represent the feeling and tone of a project, using visual effects & creative lighting to push the boundaries of convention.
